2024 JConcepts Outlaw Retro Clod Buster Monster Truck Rules & Class Information
This class is in the spirit of the golden age of “Stage 2″ monster trucking as seen on the TNT or USHRA racing circuits of the late 80’s. This is the period where the lumbering early monsters (i.e. Stage 1) gave way to lighter, more powerful trucks with racing as the main purpose. The basis for the vehicles were modified stock pickups or heavy duty boxed frames. Suspensions had relatively little travel and were quite stiff still and as such, it made for wild, unpredictable events. The idea is to recreate this era with R/C using the Tamiya Clod Buster suspension as the basis.
BODY Classically styled bodies only (generally 1990 and earlier, please contact a TK official for anything that may be questionable from the 90’s). However, a designated concrete/black top body can be run to avoid damaging particular ones, in which case this will not count towards the season name change limit.
