BIGFOOT 9 was completed in 1990 and debuted on February 10th in Dayton, Ohio with legendary driver Jim Kramer behind the wheel. It is based on the same concepts as BIGFOOT 8, but with a few variations and new innovations. After competing throughout the U.S. for the next few years, in 1994 it was sent overseas to tour extensively through England and Malaysia. In 1998, #9 visited Brazil, but shortly after loading the truck into a container to be shipped back to the U.S., it was lost in a customs debacle. To this day, this fiasco has not been resolved.
