BIGFOOT 10 was the product of more than 700 hours of computer design work, done by Bob Chandler. It was the next step in monster truck chassis design, taking cues from BIGFOOT 8 and 9, but with improvements.  The engine was moved behind the driver and the suspension was redesigned to allow for more than 30” of suspension travel.  The truck debuted at the St. Louis Arena on January 31, 1992.  #10 captured that year’s Special Events Penda Points Series Championship.  In 1993, it took 2nd place, behind BIGFOOT 11.  In 1999 it won the Checkered Flag Points Championship. In 2006, Madusa became the first woman to compete in a tube-chassis racing BIGFOOT with #10.  Over its 20+ year life, this truck competed in hundreds of events until it was retired in 2015.  This truck did get new life in 2020 when it was rebuilt and put on permanent display in Pacific, MO at the BIGFOOT Plaza in front of Pacific City Hall, just off historic Route 66 (I-44).  It can be seen there to this day, at any time of day or night.
